Color: you know what you like.
Elastic waistband: the 1 1/2" wide waistband comes in
two styles - either with an inside draw cord or without. The
draw cord allows for a more accurate fit, but many users
only tie it to keep it inside the pant and find that it gets
in the way.
Inseam: measure your inseam from your crotch to your
ankles. The standard length inseams allow for the
"bunched-up" leg look of sweatpants, but if you prefer less
fabric bunching up, select your own custom inseam length.
Pockets: to pocket or not.... Pockets are handy, but get
in the way if you use the pants for exercise and can get
caught in branches if hiking. Most users prefer pockets for
leisure wear, but do not want them for their exercise pants.
You can select a one-pocket option, too, and pick which side
you want the pocket on - for your left hand or right hand.
Leg
opening: select a classic elastic opening or an open
hemmed opening. The elastic opening keeps the pants in place
better and allows you to roll the pant up your calves. The
open hem is a looser fit that allows for better ventilation
if used for exercise.
